ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Engineer to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes that support the organization’s business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Work closely with Data Analysts, Business Intelligence Developers, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurately and efficiently delivered to support data-driven decision-making
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract data from various source systems, transform it according to business requirements, and load it into target data repositories (data warehouses, Data Lakes, etc). Develop and maintain data pipelines using a variety of tools and technologies
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data integration process and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability. Collaborate with Data Analysts and Business Intelligence Developers to understand data requirements and design appropriate data models
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
  • Adhere to data governance policies and procedures and maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of data management standards and best practices and work closely with Data Analysts, Business Intelligence Developers, and business users to understand their data needs and provide technical solutions. Provide technical support and guidance on data-related issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and a minimum of 4 years of experience OR a Master’s degree and equivalent experience.
  • High School diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
  • Two years of position-specific relevant experience. Three or more years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS). Experience with data modeling tools and techniques and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD, Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of agile-informed development methodologies.
  • AWS Certified Data Analytics–Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Azure Data Engineer Associate, and Big Data certifications (e.g., Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) Data Engineer). Familiar with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
