Research Intern

 

Fujitsu Research America (FRA) conducts fundamental research in several cutting-edge areas of technology including Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). FRA is inviting applications for a Research Intern to research and build human-AI systems. The internship will target publications at top-tier conferences. Selected candidates will work with FRA’s Pittsburgh office, either remotely or in person. The expected duration of the internship is between 12-20 weeks. The expected start date will be between September 2025 to January 2026.

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing PhD in Computer Science or related discipline in the U.S.
• Experience with Python programming and building systems with Gen AI
• Experience with ML/CV

 

Preferred Qualifications

• First-author publications at top-tier conferences such as CHI, UIST, CVPR, NeurIPS etc.
• Experience with conducting user studies or evaluations
