This role

As our AI Instructional Designer, you'll be working with the Launch Team responsible for designing and delivering high-quality, interactive learning experiences by embedding generative and agentive AI technologies into every phase of content creation. This role focuses on dramatically increasing output and reducing development cycles by automating and accelerating tasks such as content creation, asset generation, and Articulate Rise interactive elements. Our AI Instructional Designer will build structured, scalable learning pathways tailored to diverse learner needs, ensuring all content aligns with organisational goals, learning outcomes, and brand voice.

Working closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams, the designer will generate content using AI, and manage AI content libraries and workflows to ensure consistency, quality, and relevance. The role also involves staying on the forefront of emerging AI tools and techniques, integrating them into design practices to continuously enhance the effectiveness, creativity, and efficiency of the learning experience.

This will include:

AI-Powered Learning Innovation

• Develop and manage bespoke GPTs designed for learning design workflows — reusable, scalable, and tailored to our tone and training goals.
• Prompt LLMs to generate dynamic course structures, content, and learner interactions within Articulate Rise.
• Contribute to the setup and refinement of AI agents supporting the L&D function.

Next-Gen Instructional Design

• Design interactive, visually compelling learning journeys that embody The EH Way and our AI-First mindset.
• Produce SCORM-ready content to upload to our LMS
• Integrate AI-generated videos and imagery to enhance engagement and retention.
• Build end-to-end pathways, microlearning modules, and just-in-time resources that empower performance at scale.
• Drive content review cycles and embed feedback fast and fearlessly.
• Deliver polished job aids and quick-reference resources to support program launches.

Who you are

• AI Fluency — confident using LLMs and generative tools for content, video, and image creation.
• Knows how to prompt like a pro — shaping effective, structured outputs from AI tools with speed and precision.
• Has a background in instructional design, graphic design, or digital content creation — you know how to hook an audience. You also have great attention to detail and you notice the small stuff that others miss.
• Has experience producing digital learning, social media, or web content with a keen eye for visual detail and learner UX.
• Can work cross-functionally with stakeholders — decoding complexity/ambiguity and translating it into learner-ready content with clarity.
