You'll play a crucial role in building and improving automated test cases, automating operations tasks, and ensuring top-notch quality assurance testing across our locations in the US, Spain, and UK.

  • Innovate and Enhance: Design, develop, and maintain automated API/UI and backend test cases/test suites, and automate operations tasks.
  • Automation Solutions: Build and support automation solutions for test scenarios and data validation.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with developers, DevOps, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Framework Development: Maintain and enhance the team's test automation framework.
  • Multi-Project Management: Provide support in tests/operations automation across multiple projects.
  • Certification: Run automated test cases and test suites to certify builds and newly developed features.
  • CI/CD Integration: Monitor CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated tests are integrated and running smoothly.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyse and report test automation results and statistics.
  • Quality Assurance: Certify and sign off on stories/releases, ensuring end-to-end automation testing.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects.
  • Agile Participation: Join the agile team, attend stand-ups, retrospectives, and more.
  • Time Management: Manage critical task deliverables efficiently.
  • Self-Motivation: Independently prioritize work and stay motivated.
  • Process Improvement: Assess and improve working methodologies (Lean Six Sigma) and processes.
  • Documentation: Write clear and concise test documentation and reports.
  • Programming Expertise: Solid understanding of JavaScript and/or Python programming languages.
  • Automation Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts with JavaScript/Python.
  • Testing Skills: Experience in UI, API, and backend testing automation with Playwright.
  • Lifecycle Knowledge: Understanding of SDLC methodologies and Software Testing Lifecycle.
  • Design Patterns: Solid understanding of test automation design patterns, automation lifecycle, and best practices.
  • Data Solutions: Experience in developing test data generation solutions for data analytics, back-end testing, and test case creation.
  • Adaptability: Fast learner, flexible to Testing Methodologies, Processes, and Tools.
  • API Understanding: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend systems.
  • CI/CD Familiarity: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with local and offshore teams.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks during strict deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a good understanding of the Project Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies.
  • Task Management: Jira experience to manage and track tasks.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

  • Additional Tools: Knowledge of SQL, Postman, MS Access, Excel, and Confluence.
  • Industry Insight: Knowledge of the insurance market.
  • Reporting: Experience with test automation results reporting, statistics processing, and monitoring.
  • Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6).
