Do you have experience of working within technical support and knowledge in chemometrics? Do you want to work with application development and problem-solving in a broad and international role?
Your new role
We are now looking to hire an Application Specialist in our application team who will work as an expert in applications for analytical equipment used for the food industry. This means you will work with validation, updating and development of multivariable models, mainly on NIR/IR (Near Infrared / Infrared) instrument platforms. You will learn about the instruments and build relations internally and outside the organization by acting technical support for incoming problems from customers, distributors and colleagues. Furthermore, you will visit clients and educate employees in the using the instruments and calibrations. Your role in the team can vary and be customized depending on your previous experience, knowledge and interests.
This position is located in Hägersten, Stockholm with limited number of travel days.
What you need to succeed
- B.Sc., M.Sc or Ph.D. in relevant field (e.g. chemical engineering, biotechnology, food technology, computer science, statistics or similar).
- Knowledge within chemometrics, machine learning or similar
- Full professional proficiency in English
It is a benefit if you have:
- Experience in advanced analytical equipment: NIR, IR, Rheology
- Experience in Process Analytical Techniques and applications
- Experience of working in a customer oriented technical role.
- Experience of working internationally
- Knowledge about Food including feed, grain and dairy
- Skills in Python and chemometrical software
- Good knowledge in Swedish and/or a third language
