State Street provides investment servicing, investment management, investment research and trading services to institutional investors worldwide.Workforce Data Analyst State Street Bank And Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts: Help State Street’s Global Human Resources (GHR) convert vast data sets into clear and concise information and insights to directly inform workforce decisions for senior leadership. Will consult with senior leaders to utilize the workforce information in a way that supports the respective leaders’ strategic goals and will partner with other GHR COE’s to bridge workforce plans to talent plans and strategic initiatives. Specific duties of the position include: Preparing analysis data sets and cleaning source data, combining multiple data sources for use in analysis; Preparing analytics results to be communicated across the organization in a way that informs and drives the organization to action; Utilizing analytical and visualization software, such as Tableau and R, to derive insights and story tell with data; Participating in all phases of analytics and reporting projects, from development/research and source data pipeline integration to data interpretation and storytelling; Unpacking data to unlock previously unknown insights that enable cross-functional GHR solutions; Developing material for and training HR professionals in evidence-based HR; and Providing tactical direction for trends/metrics/analytics, partnering with internal teams and IT resources to implement and maintain their distribution. Full-time telecommuting from within the U.S. permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Business Analytics or related field; plus 5 years of experience in business or data analytics role. Alternativley, will accept a Master's degree, or its equivalent, in Business Analytics or related field; plus 3 years of experience in business or data analytics role.
Must have: Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence tools including Tableau; Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as R, Python or SQL; Experience with regression and statistical analysis; Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Experience consulting and influencing both up and across organizations; Ability to manage stakeholders at the leadership level; Proven written and verbal communication skills. All experience can be gained concurrently.)

Salary Range:
$148 762 - $163 762 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
