POSITION SPECIFICS
The Center for Healthy Aging within the College of Health and Human Development seeks a Research Data Management Specialist to join an interdisciplinary team focusing on mobile health phenotyping and environmental influences. The Specialist evaluates, develops, and maintains data management solutions for research teams; provides expertise and consultation related to data management processes, including data retrieval, processing, verification, and quality control; and programs and tests data entry and management applications.
Responsibilities:
Project throughput and data monitoring: routine check-ins with data collection teams to understand capacity, needs, and issues.
Monitor data quality regularly, and note any recommendations to PIs and data collection staff.
Document all data variables at all levels of analysis (raw, scored) via Markdown and other systems.
Assist in preparing datasets and writing results for publication.
Coordinate manuscript submission procedures (formatting, conflict of interest forms)
Contribute and lead team meetings to evaluate the progress of writing projects and future directions; integrate and accept feedback from team members.
The position is based at the University Park campus; however, flexible work arrangements, such as remote or hybrid work opportunities, may be considered.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
If filled as Research Data Management Specialist - Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: None If filled as Research Data Management Specialist - Intermediate Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $46,400.00 - $74,000.00.
