The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Wiesbaden site in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. 

In this role you will support the growth of our business by overseeing the Commercial Excellence team and enabling meaningful business decision-making of all relevant commercial stakeholder by the development of data-based solutions and professional visualisation tools. Leveraging insights into business decisions through advanced analyses (AA), artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced modelling plus leading complex interdisciplinary projects to drive the success of our business. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this is a pivotal role where you will be leading a team of highly skilled Commercial Excellence Mangers and Business Analysts

Your Tasks:

• Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
• Developing and leading an agile organization able to understand the overall business vision and able to provide analytics and insights to drive new commercial initiatives/projects under considerations of compliance, IT limitations, GDPR and Abbott policies.
• Planning, coordinating and leading extensive and strategic projects incl. resource, communication and project plan as well as responsibility for deadlines and budget.
• Leading the development and implementation AA/AI approaches for the relevant commercial functions aiming to optimize workstream efficiencies and business outcomes.  
• Understanding and implementation the unique business model of webshop based B2C processes.
• Data Analysis to connect to patient journeys within ADC driven webshop network with external partners.
• Establish an efficient & effective process to specify the requirements for all submitted requests, while supporting the agile organization in prioritizing and achieving a high-quality turnaround of all submitted requests, as well as establishing a transparent communication on progress to business stakeholders.
• Responsible to develop meaningful KPl's and metrics to measure commercial processes/project implementations and establishing communication to respective/impacted business stakeholders.
• Manage the design and delivery of reports, dashboards and insights (data analytics tools) that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
• Has a strong affinity towards automation and constantly finding ways to integrate /automate information management.
• Identify new business opportunities to drive the expansion and extension of relevant business segments.
• Create and execute strategies and projects to utilize business opportunities.
• Drive execution of defined projects in area of responsibility.
• Organize and communicate with external/internal project members and stakeholders to achieve timely execution and meet milestones.

Your Qualification:

• Master’s degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a similar discipline
• 6-8 years’ experience in data or project management with demonstrated work experience with programming languages and tools:
  • Coding skills in VBA, DAX, PL/SQL and Python or R
  • Data Visualization experience in Power BI (nice to have)
  • Relational Database experience in MSSQL &/ Oracle databases
  • Microsoft toolkit such as MS Access and MS Excel
