Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Director within the BSA/AML Data Strategy, Execution and Operations team. This role will report to the Head of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Data Strategy, Execution & Operations and will be responsible for development of Financial Crimes data strategy along with championing the data architecture strategy with technology partners to ensure data architecture aligns with institutional data strategy. This role will also modernize and scale current data ecosystem architecture for future state data management.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the development and formulation of Financial Crimes data strategy by defining how data will be collected, managed, used, and protected, supporting the organization’s overarching strategic objectives.
- Champion, refine, and implement the BSA/AML data architecture to ensure that the data architecture strategy aligns with institutional & data strategy.
- Modernize and scale current Data Ecosystem architecture for Future-Ready Enterprise Data Management.
- Collaborate with domain data leads and technical platform owners to oversee that business requirements are translated with enhanced data security at the backend level (masking, anonymization, encryption).
- Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes.
- Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency.
- Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
- Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities.
- Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
- Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and programming languages like SQL, Python, and R.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and data modeling principles.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and tools to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Prior experience working in a financial services banking capacity with a well-rounded understanding of various banking areas/functions including operational risk management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to clearly convey information, build rapport, and manage expectations with senior leaders, business groups, and remediation teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver on commitments.
- Proven self-motivated and comfortable operating in large transformational programs as part of collaborative teams.
Job Expectation: Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00Benefits
