About the role

We are seeking aĀ GenAI & Data Governance SpecialistĀ to support the successful implementation of Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives across LGT Crestone. This role will focus on ensuring the necessary AI governance, including data governance, infrastructure, and competenciesĀ are in place to enable effective AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with theĀ Head of DigitalĀ to develop frameworks, facilitate data literacy programs, and support the rollout of AI-powered tools likeĀ Copilot.

Key activities include

Support Generative AI Initiatives

  • Assist in implementingĀ GenAI-driven solutions, including AI Copilot and other available digital workplace AI and automation tools.

  • Support other key AI initiatives – e.g. Client Advice Process.

AI Governance Framework, Data Infrastructure & AI readiness

  • Support the Head of Digital in the framework development and establishment of AI governance (including data)Ā to support AI model development and decision-making.

  • Assist in defining theĀ data architectureĀ needed for AI applications, including data pipelines, storage, and integrations.

  • Ensure that data isĀ structured, well-maintained, and accessibleĀ for AI and machine learning models.

  • Assist in defining processes forĀ data quality, access management, lineage tracking, and documentation.

  • Work closely with IT and Data Engineering teams to optimiseĀ data workflows for AI readiness.

  • Work with data owners, technology, and legal teams to ensure compliance withĀ data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.

Support Organisational Data Competencies – leveraging LGT existing material

  • DevelopĀ training programs and workshops leveraging LGT experience and roll outsĀ to improve data literacy and AI adoption across business units.

  • Knowledge sharing of LGT self-service resources to help employees effectively leverageĀ Copilot and AI-powered tools.

  • Support teams inĀ understanding and using AI models responsibly, ensuring transparency in AI-driven decisions.

Your qualifications

  • Degree qualification

  • Preferred specialised studies in AI & data science, computer science, information management or a related field.

Your skills & experience

  • 2+years of experience inĀ data governance, AI implementation, or digital transformation.

  • Exposure toĀ Generative AI models, Copilot tools, and enterprise AI applications.

  • Proficiency inĀ data analytics and visualisation toolsĀ (SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

  • Familiarity withĀ AI/ML models and frameworksĀ (OpenAI, Claude etc.).

  • Understanding ofĀ cloud-based AI servicesĀ 

  • Experience inĀ training or mentoring teamsĀ on AI and data literacy.

  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to explain AI concepts and data governance frameworks to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset – Capable of identifying risks and opportunities for AI implementation.

  • Project Management – Comfortable working onĀ cross functional initiativesĀ with multiple stakeholders.

  • Change Management – Experience inĀ rolling out new technology solutionsĀ and driving user adoption.

  • AI Ethics & Responsible AI Knowledge – Understanding of AI risks, bias mitigation, and regulatory considerations.
