Freddie Mac Multifamily makes affordable rental housing possible by purchasing apartment loans throughout the nation from a network of lenders and then securitizing them through a variety of offerings, including:

Securitization enables us to transfer virtually all risk to third parties, and Freddie Mac is an active and consistent issuer of high-grade multifamily securities, featuring transparency and consistency on collateral and deal information.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of the development and execution of Freddie Mac Multifamily securitization transactions and will be expected to:

  • Support the facilitation and completion of structured transactions and securitizations

  • Build a deep understanding of the accounting and legal due diligence processes, including asset summary reports

  • Assist in the development and completion of transaction offering documents, term sheets, marketing materials, and reporting documents

  • Perform ad hoc analysis

  • Develop, implement and manage collateral databases, queries and reports that directly support the structured transactions function.

  • Communicate daily with internal business partners, external professional service providers, and investors.  The candidate will interact extensively with Production, Underwriting, Asset Management, and Legal, as well as external legal counsel, accountants, dealers, servicers, and investors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience

  • 0-2 years of experience in real estate, capital markets, finance or similar

  • Ability to work in a dynamic business environment and manage multiple tasks and work independently and in groups

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel

  • Intermediate to expert user of R-Studio, SQL, or Python (preferred)

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $66,000 - $100,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
