The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Enterprise Artificial Intelligence & Data team is seeking a Senior Data Governance Specialist either in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Mesa, AZ; Ridley Park, PA; or Plano, TX.
The role is responsible for defining and enabling data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance policies across the data product lifecycle and product roadmap while aligning it with Boeing’s objectives to enable compliance and business value across the enterprise.
The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and enable data and AI governance across product lifecycles from conception to launch, driving adoption of new data driven products. The role will engage directly with the business users and stakeholders across Boeing and will be accountable for driving data, digital thread and AI policies and standards towards a well governed data product, unlocking business value.
Additional responsibilities for this role include defining data governance policies, driving compliance towards data policies and risk mitigation, de-risking product development, monitoring data product performance, data maturity.

Position Responsibilities:
Own definition of Data and AI Governance policies to deliver governed data products
Develop and maintain comprehensive data governance product plans and roadmaps, ensuring that capabilities are delivered on time and within scope, unlocking business value
Develop and maintain Data and AI compliance with policies and risk mitigation
Driving Data and AI adoption across product development
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the data and AI governance strategy and roadmap are aligned to the division strategy and objectives and key results (OKRs)
Establish maturity measurement across the data and AI product development life cycle for clarity in progress and business value delivered
Develop end to end knowledge base across the data product life cycle to build an impactful story beyond project execution for stakeholders at both working and leadership levels
Mentor, develop and evaluate product development teams
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience leading Data Governance Programs delivering certified data products
5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
5+ years of experience working within a global development team
5+ years of experience in Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA)
5+ years of experience in product management related to data, analytics and/or artificial intelligence
5+ years of experience in road mapping, story lining and delivering a data product based on end user research
Willing and able to travel 10-20% of the time, both internationally and domestically
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience with navigating through ambiguities and building a highly effective, strong execution team for the overall product success
Experience with agile implementation and CI/CD
Experience in developing strategy and implementation of digital thread concept in industrial domain
Experience defining and implementing digital thread technologies in an industrial domain
Experience building and leading technical teams in data, digital and analytics within industrial domain
Experience interfacing between business and technical domains
Experience influencing at all levels of the organization

Summary pay range: $110,500 – $159,850
