About the role

As a Data Analyst in the Rides Finance team, you'll drive smarter business decisions across Bolt's global ride-hailing operations by building, updating and maintaining business-critical planning models and financial reports. You'll create these models both in Google Sheets and ERP systems for use across Bolt's global operations, while working with Looker for comprehensive dashboarding and extracting data to generate actionable insights that support both strategic and tactical planning.

Your work will be varied and has global impact. You might spend one week developing detailed financial forecasting models, then shift to automating routine reporting processes, or focus on building executive dashboards that transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Whether you're extracting data with SQL, automating workflows with Python, or crafting sophisticated models with AppScript, you'll be the bridge between raw financial data and the strategic decisions that shape Bolt's future.

This role not only requires strong technical proficiency and business acumen, but also places a strong emphasis on excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Your strong intuition for business, combined with analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, will play a crucial role in driving the success of this position

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Build, update and maintain business-critical planning models in Google Sheets/Appscript and ERP system for global operations
• Create comprehensive dashboards and reports using Looker to deliver actionable insights for strategic and tactical planning
• Automate routine financial reporting processes using Python and Google Apps Script
• Extract and analyze data using SQL to support financial forecasting and operational decision-making
• Develop executive dashboards that transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into data solutions

About you:

• Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and Apps Script with enthusiasm for process automation
• Experience working with ERP systems for data extraction and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for creating dashboards and reports
• Experience with SQL and Python for data extraction, automation, and financial modeling
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
