POSITION
This role will focus on leveraging the app data to optimize the efficiency of marketing campaigns and app features. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of statistical analysis and classical machine learning methods with a passion for applying them to real-world time-series forecasting problems.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?
·      Develop and own machine learning models to predict LTV and churn for our subscription-based apps.·       Design and implement custom loss functions and evaluation metrics tailored to business objectives (e.g., ranking, calibration, cohort forecasting).·       Drive improvements in automation, maintainability, and reproducibility to support scale and cross-functional adoption of already existing ML models and pipelines.·       Collaborate closely with data, product, and marketing teams to uncover insights and ensure models drive action.·       Stay up to date with recent ML research, tools, and modeling approaches — and translate ideas from papers into practice.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING?
·       2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or an ML Engineer.·       BS in engineering/physics/math or related field. MS/PhD is a big plus.·      Solid understanding of time series forecasting, user behavior modeling, or subscription lifecycle metrics.·       Strong skills in Python, machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow), and model deployment best practices.·       Familiarity with LTV prediction challenges in consumer apps is a big plus.·       Strong problem-solving and communication skills – able to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.·       A strong understanding of statistics and the ability to identify and assess potential biases in data are essential.

NICE TO HAVES
·       Previous experience in Customer Lifetime Value and Churn Prediction within subscription based businesses.·       Contributions to large-scale codebases or open-source projects.·       Previous experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery.·  Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.·  Experience in putting models in production and experiment tracking.
