Our team develops an innovative AI platform for quality assurance in automotive production at both national and international plants. You will support us in leveraging a comprehensive framework of hardware, software, and in-house AI developments. What awaits you?

• You support the implementation of AI use cases and innovations: With a constant inflow of new use cases from our plants, you will contribute to solving exciting machine learning problems.
• Here, you assist in all steps of the data science pipeline: From data exploration, preparation, and preprocessing to model selection, AI training, evaluation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Additionally, you contribute to testing and evaluating new AI solutions, such as foundation models and multimodal generative AI models.
• You help develop web apps as Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate and test the practical applicability of new AI solutions in real-world environments.
• This role allows you to gain experience with the practical and industrialized use of machine learning while gaining insights into automotive engineering and its digitization.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in data science, computer science, business informatics, statistics, or a comparable program with a focus on data science/machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and associated data science frameworks and libraries (e.g., Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, Torch, TensorFlow, Keras, anomalib, scikit-learn, OpenCV).
• Alternatively, proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., FastAPI, Flask).
• Some experience with training AI models.
• Basic knowledge in deep learning and data science methodologies.
• A hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented approach to tasks.
• Business fluency in German or English.
