Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team.
Floy is supporting radiologists by boosting their diagnostics efforts with unconventional AI products focused on overlooked diseases. You will lead a fast-paced engineering team tasked to ensure seamless integration of our deep learning models into clinical environments. Your role will be critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and accessibility of our services, directly impacting the product's effectiveness in improving patients’ lives. This means that you possess a versatile tech stack, can think out-of-the-box, and have the ability to plan and execute R&D tasks with your team independently and passionately.
The goal is to shape how our deep learning models can help patients in clinical practice. Together with a medical product manager, you own not only the integration into the radiology workflow, but all end user interactions with our models from inception to clinical release.

Your responsibilities

  • Enhance our AI integration into radiology systems (PACS, RIS, DICOM) to enable scaling up from hundreds to thousands of clinics
  • Implement and validate integrations with existing and new radiology systems
  • Integrate third-party medical products into our current product portfolio
  • Optimize for system stability, security and fast processing times within the medical regulatory frameworks

What are we looking for?

  • A degree in a relevant scientific (Computer Science, Software Engineering) discipline or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge in software engineering fundamentals
  • Proficiency working with Python
  • Basic knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, and the use of cloud platforms
  • Basic knowledge in Typescript and React
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to scientific accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Strong commitment to teamwork
  • Stack: Python (asyncio framework), FastAPI, Docker, DICOM

Good to Have
  • Experience working with DICOM and/or in the radiology field is a big plus
  • Experience working with edge-deployed devices

We are looking for brilliant, hard-working people who strive to become recognised thought leaders in their domain. If you enjoy learning new things and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you. Together, we will continuously tailor the role to your strengths and development goals.
