BSE Global’s (Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, Long Island Nets, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Wine Club, BKMAG, and Type.Set.Brooklyn) Fall and Spring Internship Program is an excellent learning environment for college seniors, grad students, and recent grads seeking hands-on experience within the sports and entertainment industry.

SUMMARY: 

The Seasonal Internship is a part-time, paid program that begins October 8th, 2025 to May 14th, 2026. Start and end dates can be flexible depending on your academic calendar.

The program is located at our Industry City Corporate Headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Fall and Spring Interns are expected to work about 20-40 hours per week with some days expected to be in office and other days remote. Each intern will be assigned to a specific department in which they will remain or rotate for the duration of the program.

We host interns in a variety of departments, including:

Brooklyn Basketball

Brooklyn Basketball brings the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty together to establish a community-first basketball experience. Our goal is to grow the game for participants of all ages through professionally-led clinics and camps, community-focused events, instructional videos, unique basketball content and much more.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide administrative and operational assistance for Brooklyn Basketball programming including but not limited to camps, clinics, after school programs, tournaments and other activations.
  • Support with the operations and logistics of Brooklyn Basketball programs, events and activities at the Brooklyn Basketball Training Center.
  • Support the Brooklyn Basketball DOE partnership, including communications, scheduling and equipment to ensure sounds operations.
  • Support with the coordination of logistics for Brooklyn Basketball programming, including scheduling, gear, equipment, and inventory management.
  • Sort and pack gear and equipment needed for Brooklyn Basketball programming and assist in delivering to events locations as needed.
  • Support with the development of Brooklyn Basketball reports and materials.
  • Research best practices across teams and other youth organizations across the sport and industry at large.
  • Assist with various strategic projects as needed.

Communications

BSE Global’s Communications intern will support the Communications team in external promotion of the company’s properties including the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, New York Liberty, and more.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Receive hands-on opportunities to support a variety of projects, including (but NOT limited to) drafting press releases, writing media advisories and pitch letters, monitoring media coverage and compiling media clippings into recap newsletters.
  • Help strategize for relevant PR initiatives and assist in the research and ideation of new outlets, mediums, and communications techniques. 
  • Work with other members of the department to coordinate media for PR activations, as well as conventional events, at BSE Global venues.
  • Be expected to provide on-site support at various events on nights and weekends (as needed).

Community Relations

The Community Relations intern will help support the CR department serving an integral role in supporting the team's community and philanthropic efforts by creating, implementing and amplifying team driven programming.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support community-related activations in collaboration with the Brand Marketing and Partnership Marketing teams.
  • Manage and track community-related efforts for the BSE Global and Brooklyn Nets.
  • Manage relationships with community organizations and stakeholders that align with the organization’s pillars.
  • Oversee charitable donation requests, fulfilling them in a timely manner.
  • Support community ticket allocations and distributions where appropriate.
  • Assist with the Brooklyn Nets & New York Liberty Foundation’s 50/50 raffle.
  • Support in drafting communication and recaps for community events and initiatives.
  • Attend game nights and community events.

Content Production

The Content Production Intern will support the production team in creating, organizing, and executing multimedia projects for BSE properties, including the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and Barclays Center. This internship offers hands-on experience in production coordination, postproduction support, and office management, with opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Assist production leaders with creating and managing production schedules and sending call sheets. 
• Help book locations, talent, crew, equipment, and transportation as needed.
• Provide logistical support during productions and act as a communication liaison for updates and coordination.
• Help ensure smooth transitions between production and post-production by organizing and delivering assets to editors and producers. 
• Assist with tracking media assets and maintaining an organized content library for easy accessibility.
• Support the team in managing post-production timelines and deliverables.

Creative

We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a design student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. The intern will work closely with our design and marketing teams to support a wide range of visual projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in designing digital assets such as social media graphics, email templates, web banners, and presentations
  • Support the development of print materials including flyers, posters, brochures, and signage
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all visual communications
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development
  • Prepare and export production-ready files for print or digital use
  • Perform image editing an retouching as needed

    Preferred Skills (Not Required)

    • Basic motion graphics/video editing tools (e.g., After Effects)
    • Understanding of social media platforms and content specs
    • Experience with branding or working within visual identity guidelines

Experiences, Venues & Hospitality Marketing

The Experience, Venues & Hospitality Marketing Intern is an integral part of the Marketing team at BSE Global, supporting marketing initiatives to promote concerts, family programming, college basketball and other live entertainment at Barclays Center and other BSE Global properties.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work with the Experience, Venues & Hospitality Marketing team to promote and market entertainment and sporting events at BSE Global properties.
  • Conduct and compile market research for area entertainment events and upcoming shows.
  • Prepare and submit creative request forms for marketing materials.
  • Draft and submit email requests for newsletters, presale, and pre-event emails.
  • Manage Barclays Center in-arena TV systems and promotional content for events.
  • Prepare custom audience lists for email and paid social campaigns.
  • Accurately update and maintain storage platforms for marketing collateral and creative content.
  • Attend events to help capture and create promotional content for social media platforms.

Finance

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, and Accounts Payable teams. This internship offers hands-on exposure to diverse financial functions, fostering professional growth and understanding of financial operations in a dynamic business environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Support various departments under the Finance team, with various projects such as:

FP&A Support:

  •   Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports
  •   Update contractual/consultant trackers
  •   Support with budget items
  •   Conduct ad hoc analysis/help on various projects
  •   Assist with reconciling discrepancies

Accounting:

  •   Review Pre-Close and Post Close ledger to help identify reclasses
  •   Support month-end and quarter-end close process

Procurement

  • Support supplier invoice review and tracking

AP

  • Download invoices and send to AP system for processing

Game Presentation & Entertainment

The Entertainment intern is an integral member of the Entertainment department. This role assists with the efficiency of the department and game day/event needs across all the sports franchises.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assisting with entertainment teams game day needs
  • Assisting supervisor with day-to-day office work (schedules, organizing photos, costume inventory, rehearsal errands (if applicable), etc)
  • Assist with capturing and ideating social media content 
  • Manages and curates game day meals and menus
  • Collects, inputs, and tracks information into the Entertainment hub

Hospitality Operations

The Hospitality Department is looking for a Seasonal Intern. The roles and responsibilities of this internship will be based out of Industry City Corporate Headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn AND Barclays Center in downtown Brooklyn.

Most importantly – we’re looking for an out-of-the-box thinker with a “can do” attitude and the desire to learn more about:

  • HOW events are developed and implemented in a variety of environments
  • WHAT it takes to operationally support a sports and entertainment business

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Learn events process from start to finish
    • Assist with event requests, intake meetings, pre-event preparation (including catering needs)
    • Shadow on-site during events and build confidence to take lead
  • Work with arena and basketball operation teams to get a better understanding of
    • Logistics and operations

  • Assist with reviewing guest survey feedback

Partnership Marketing

The Partnership Marketing Intern will support the execution of partnership initiatives through event coordination, partner engagement, asset tracking, and market research, contributing to the development and success of strategic sponsorship and marketing collaborations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in planning and executing events related to sports partnerships, including sponsorship activations, fan engagements, and promotional activities
  • Assist in the creation and development of partner pitch decks and proposals
  • Support in maintaining positive relationships with partners
  • Continuously track contractual assets for all current partner agreements and control partner hospitality fulfillment data such as ticket bank tracking
  • Assist projects in sport market research by conducting research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience demographics to inform to inform marketing strategies and identify new partnership opportunities
  • Assist with hosting partners during games, events, and concerts
  • Provide overall support for partnership business operations and administrative tasks

Public Relations

The Public Relations Intern will support daily media operations by assisting with news monitoring, content creation, statistical research, and game day preparations to help maintain and enhance the team’s public image and media presence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Create a daily briefing of team news clippings and assist with media monitoring;
  • Assist in writing and production of media guides, game notes and player bios;
  • Analyze, track and upkeep statistics to compile information for game notes and other media materials;
  • On game days, will be involved in preparing the arena for media, as well as staffing games and PR related events.

Social Media

The Social Media Intern will be responsible with helping content development, organization and tracking across Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty and other Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment social media initiatives. This role will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the content department, and throughout the Marketing department, to develop content that supports business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support always on development of social media content for BSE properties (Nets, Liberty, Barclays Center)
  • Support game day content operations including capture, highlight clipping, and social publishing
  • Track content performance/trends and produce reporting documents
  • Conduct research and stay on top of social media trends to integrate into Nets, Liberty, and Barclays Center channels
Social Media - Chinese Market

The Social Media – Chinese Market Intern will support the creation, translation, and distribution of content across digital platforms, assist in partner relations, and contribute to performance tracking and paid media strategy, with a focus on engaging Mandarin-speaking audiences and growing the brand’s presence in the Chinese market.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Assist in producing and publishing daily Chinese content across all platforms
  • Assist in expanding and maintaining relationship with multiple Chinese media platform partners (Weibo, Tencent, Douyin, Hupu, Kuaishou, etc)
  • Assist in translating video content pieces
  • Track social media metrics and generate weekly reports monitoring team social media performance
  • Produce weekly digital media roundups to update the group with the latest happenings
  • Execute paid social media strategy on a weekly basis
REQUIREMENTS
·      Must be Bilingual in Mandarin. Native Mandarin speaker preferred.
·      Deep knowledge of NBA and basketball preferred.

Ticket Analytics

This role provides an opportunity to contribute directly to the Ticket Strategy & Pricing Analytics team and the Ticket Operations team for the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and events at Barclays Center. The intern will support the teams in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting ticket sales data to drive revenue growth, enhance the fan experience, and optimize ticketing operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  1. Data Collection and Analysis
    • Assist in compiling and cleaning ticketing data from various sources, including historical sales and game attendance.
    • Conduct analysis on ticket sales trends, pricing strategies, and inventory management to inform revenue-maximizing decisions.
    • Support predictive modeling efforts to forecast ticket demand and inform dynamic pricing strategies.
  2. Performance Reporting
    • Develop and update dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for ticket sales, fan retention, and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with the team to provide insights on game attendance, seat utilization, and fan purchase behavior.
    • Contribute to post-event reports by analyzing ticket sales and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Support efforts to personalize ticket offers, renewals, and promotions to increase customer retention and engagement.
  3. Game-Day Operations Support
    • Participate in game-day ticketing operations, including monitoring live attendance and assisting with any on-site ticketing adjustments.
    • Help troubleshoot ticketing issues as needed and provide support to the ticket operations team.
  4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis
    • Conduct research on ticketing trends, including league-wide pricing strategies, promotions, and fan engagement initiatives.
    • Benchmark BSE Global’s ticketing performance against industry standards and competitors to identify the best practices and areas of opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data; familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and passion for the sports and entertainment industry, particularly the NBA and WNBA is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills to convey data insights and support decision-making.
  • Willingness to work game nights, weekends, or extended hours as required.

Ticket Operations

The Ticket Operations Intern will support the daily functions of the Ticketing Department by assisting with event planning and execution, inventory management, administrative tasks, and member engagement initiatives to enhance the overall fan experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Ticketing Department
  • Assist in planning, promoting, and executing all Ticketing Department events, including but not limited to:
    • Premium events, prospecting events and season ticket member appreciation events
    • Name tags, check-in lists, researching venues, check-in, set-up/tear-down, and post-event evaluation.
    • Research new event venues and member engagement opportunities
  • Assist with management and storage of premium items inventory and distribution
  • Handle administrative tasks for the department (check requests, production requests, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Candidates must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

Please note potential game day and special event responsibilities may include late nights and weekends.

Salary

$18/hour
