The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support, field operations, and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.


Position Summary:  The DCCC is hiring multiple Regional Analytics Directors for the 2026 election cycle, with a projected start date of mid-September. At this time, visa sponsorship is not available.


Regional Analytics Directors will serve a vital role in ensuring that data is an essential component of the decision-making of the DCCC and congressional campaigns. This role will work with the Deputy Analytics Director and the rest of the Analytics team, as well as the regional pods, to advise congressional campaigns in their region on their path to victory and maximize the effectiveness of their voter outreach strategies based on rigorous statistical analysis of past election results, voter file data, polling, microtargeting models, and other analytics tools. 


This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.


Responsibilities:

  • Working directly with voter file data, model scores, and research to define targets for direct and indirect voter outreach, including the composition of the targets, the method of communication and advising on the message; 
  • Collecting and analyzing data that tracks progress to strategic imperatives for victory, including polling, qualitative research, and trends in early voting; 
  • Providing strategic advice to the DCCC and campaigns by serving as the nexus between data and strategy;
  • Support voter contact programs by building targeted universes that align with campaign strategic goals;
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with campaign teams and stakeholders;
  • Other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the Analytics team and our campaigns.

Requirements

  • (Required) 1-2 cycles or 2-4 years of campaign experience or comparative experience working with community, advocacy, party, or electoral organizations with success (or history) in developing and winning campaigns;
  • (Required) 1 cycle or 2 years of prior data, targeting, polling, or statistics experience within a structured environment (e.g., campaigns, advocacy, non-profit, etc.);
  • (Required) Familiarity with one or more of the following: polling and survey research, SQL, GIS, python, RStudio, field reporting and program evaluation, precinct and individual level modeling, data visualization;
  • (Required) A demonstrated ability to present data-driven recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner;
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with large scale relational databases such as Phoenix/Big Query;
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with voter file tools (such as VAN, PDI, Catalist);
  • (Preferred) Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets;
  • Must be in or be willing to relocate to D.C.;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment;
