Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst plays a key role in the organization by transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support data-driven decision-making.  The RA works with various departments like finance, sales, and operations to analyze data and create reports that streamline operations and improve efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
• Report and Dashboard Creation: Designing reports and dashboards to track KPIs and creating visualizations to communicate data effectively. This includes maintaining relevant databases and software.
• Data Quality and Integrity: Implementing processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness, including regular audits.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working with teams, communicating findings to stakeholders, and assisting others in understanding data reports.
• Process Improvement and Automation: Identifying opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Providing additional analysis and support as requested. 

 Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: A degree in Business, Statistics, or Computer Science is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data analysis and visualization tools (like Tableau or Power BI) and very strong Excel skills are all required for this role.  Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R are a plus!
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication, both verbal and written, and the ability to explain complex data to others.
• Other Skills: Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
