We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

PayPal, Inc. seeks Senior Technical Product Manager in Austin, TX

Job Duties: Drive product vision and create capabilities that add value to both merchants and consumers. Identify new unmet opportunities and gaps in the portfolio by analyzing the market and ecosystem. Collaborate cross functionally in defining the personalization opportunities across the consumer journey and define best in class personalization experiences for PayPal consumers globally. Evangelize, Communicate and Influence, by driving alignment on vision, roadmap, investment needs, risks and opportunities with large cross functional teams, leaders, including C-level executives. Develop experiments playbook so our models and teams are constantly learning and developing and evangelize a strong point of view on how to improve KPIs. Execute with excellence in a cross-functional setting, building strong relationships with key stakeholders (data engineers, software engineers, product analytics, merchant tech and other business teams). Run lean experiments to learn and develop and evangelize a strong point of view on how to improve KPIs. Define and develop closely with Data Science teams the core data products needed to power personalized experiences. Define and measure key performance indicators to evaluate and understand product value. Identifying new opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices, driving innovation. Deliver results. Own business outcomes and be responsible for hitting experience and revenue targets. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration or in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus four years of experience in product management and AI or ML Product experience. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus six years of experience in product management and AI or ML Product experience.

Special Skill Requirements:

1. Experience driving AI Products while leveraging LLMs and Knowledge Graphs and driving personalization products leveraging AI/ML.

2. Experience defining product strategy, product requirements, and feature roadmaps for SaaS products;

3. Experience deriving insights from large datasets and drawing conclusions using statistical methods;

4. Experience defining, tracking, maintaining, analyzing, and improving key performance metrics dashboards for products using Microsoft (MS) Excel and Tableau;

5. Experience with solution and product development using data analytics concepts, including multiple linear regression, logistic regression, and decision tree algorithms;

6. Experience applying change management concepts, including communication, training, adoption measurement, and gap remediation;

7. Experience designing and testing system integrations with software products, including Data Contracts and API specifications;

8. Ability to use machine learning models to identify and mitigate the impact of different factors;

9. Experience driving the prioritization and execution of product roadmaps.
