Logistics Analyst

The scope of this position includes providing analytical support for various activities and functions associated with warehouse/distribution operations, Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

metrics, departmental presentations, and assist with special projects. Provide intra-department assistance for various operational support departments such as Quarantine and Distribution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Leverage and apply advanced data/ database analysis tools and techniques (Python, SQL, SAP and VBA) to track KPIs, order management, productivity, replenishment, and inventory

location accuracy to provide insights, build high-quality requirements, and strategic advice for business/ management process efficiencies and technical solutions.

•Build advanced dashboards powered by VBA, SQL, SAP, and Tableau to evaluate and classify product movement in order to optimize inventory movement and helped to improve the

warehouse order-fulfillment capability by 20%.

•Retrieve and conduct data analysis to extract valuable insights from complex databases, supporting various activities and functions, of warehouse/ distribution operations.

•Develop, sustain & maintain all metrics related to case picking and storage.

•Support 3PL & JJOS activities.

•Support Suddath progress and success with CIPs (Cost Improvement Programs).

•Participate in continuous process improvement activities

•Collaborate with the operations material handling team to proactively identify and quantify opportunities for improvement.

•Spend time on the floor to understand the material handling operation.

•Maintain the integrity of documentation files, electronic document directories, database files, and hardcopy records. Prepare, create, and analyze reports and statistics as required.

•Prepare any presentations needed by management concerning departmental Key Performance Indicator metrics.

•Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

•Complete special projects, duties, and assignments, as appropriate.

Must have at least a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Transportation or Logistics. Must have 36 months of experience in the position or in a related role. Must be willing travel throughout the United States for business meetings.

Job Location: Jacksonville, FL.

40.0 hrs./wk              8:00 AM – 5:00 PM             $78,354/Year
