Position: Database & Cloud Engineer

Experience: Maximum 7 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and implement database solutions within cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP, aligning with business needs and performance requirements.
• Actively monitor database performance, ensure robust backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high availability configurations.
• Continuously optimize database structures, schemas, indexes, and queries to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices, regulatory compliance standards, and data governance policies across all cloud database implementations.
• Engage effectively with developers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to execute database migrations, integration projects, and deliver seamless system interoperability.

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience managing relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB.
• Proven hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and specific expertise in cloud-native database solutions.
• Proficiency with managed cloud database services including AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Deep understanding of database architecture, schema design, performance tuning methodologies, and comprehensive security measures.
• Strong automation skills using scripting and tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail and outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
