As a Data Engineer at CEPRES, you will support the Principal
Data Engineer in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and
infrastructure. You will contribute to building scalable solutions and manage
daily operational data tasks to ensure the integrity and accessibility of data
across the organization. Your role also demands active collaboration with the
software engineering teams to effectively implement and integrate the data
layer with other platform components.
- Major focus should be creating Data pipeline designs either using AWS Glue, or azure data factory or with ETL tools.
- Assist in designing and implementing data systems and
pipelines, aligning closely with software engineering requirements.
- Collaborate extensively with software engineering teams to
ensure that data solutions meet application needs.
- Maintain and optimize existing data structures, ensuring
integration with software applications.
- Document data processes and adhere to data governance
standards while facilitating data usage by software teams.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance technical and
industry knowledge
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Experience or good understanding of SQL Server
and/or No SQL.
- Experience or strong knowledge of AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda)
- Knowledge of Azure
DevOps & Azure Repos
- Experience or strong knowledge of Snowflake
- Familiar with data visualization tools and data
streaming platforms.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with
software engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
