  • Develop Scalable Data Pipelines: Design and maintain robust data pipelines (stream & batch) focusing on time-series data from heating & refrigeration equipment, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

  • Implement Advanced Analytics Workflows: Build and deploy sophisticated analytics workflows integrating diverse data sources for actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with Data Teams: Work closely with data analysts and Digital Product Development Teams to understand needs and deliver quality data solutions.

  • Contribute to Central Data Platform: Utilize and contribute to the GEA Cloud Analytical Platform in collaboration with the GEA Digital Hub.

  • Engage in Data Engineering Community: Participate in the Data Engineering / Science Guild to share knowledge and build networks.

  • Develop High-Quality Code: Employ modern tools and techniques to create clean, efficient, and reusable code.

  • Apply Software Engineering Best Practices: Adhere to version control and CI/CD principles for robust software delivery.

  • Relevant Technical Degree: Completed studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Solid Data Engineering Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in building and managing data pipelines and data processing solutions.

  • Pipeline Development Skills: Experience in constructing robust and scalable data pipelines for various data types.

  • Analytics Framework Proficiency: Practical experience with analytics frameworks like Spark / Databricks for large-scale data processing.

  • Strong Data Analysis Language Skills: Deep proficiency in data analysis languages such as SQL and Python.

  • Industrial Data Experience (Plus): Experience with industrial IoT, sensor data, or real-time analytics for plant process control is advantageous.

  • Agile Mindset: Comfortable working within Agile methodologies.

  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Optional): Knowledge of tools like Terraform for infrastructure automation is a plus.

  • AI Workflow Experience (Optional): Experience in implementing AI/ML workflows is a valuable addition.

  • Fluent English: Professional fluency in the English language.
