We are looking for a Director to join BigBrain - our Data & AI group, to lead our engineering group – the speedboat group of technology force that builds innovative tools to drive operational excellence across monday.com.
BigBrain operates like an independent startup within the company, creating powerful AI that accelerates growth, enhances productivity, and unlocks new capabilities across departments such as Marketing, R&D, Sales, CS, and more. The team uses advanced technologies (including AI-powered interfaces and automation) to deliver real business impact at scale.
As Director, you will lead multiple development teams, scale our engineering efforts, and shape the long-term vision of the tools that power monday.com’s internal operations. You will play a key role in bridging technology with business needs, delivering tools that are as intuitive as they are impactful.
About The Role
- Lead, grow, and mentor a group of talented developers and managers, shaping the group’s engineering culture and best practices.
- Own the vision and execution of our BigBrain roadmap, including high-impact initiatives like monday.com AI Agents framework, AI solutions for large-scale business, and data-driven autonomous solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to identify pain points, co-design solutions, and ensure strong adoption and impact.
- Promote product craftsmanship, user-centric thinking, and a deep understanding of business needs in all tools built by the group.
- Foster a high-performance culture that values ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
- Stay on top of tech and AI trends to introduce smart, efficient solutions where they can make a difference.
Our Tech Stack Includes:

Requirements
- Experience managing multiple engineering teams and leading cross-company, multi-disciplinary initiatives.
- Strong technical foundation combined with a product mindset and a passion for crafting tools that users love.
- Proven ability to hire, scale, and mentor high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of business functions like Marketing, Sales, CX, and how technology can empower them.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in UI/UX collaboration – building intuitive and efficient tools with design partners.
- A passion for innovation and a pragmatic approach to delivering real value, fast.
