This position will be responsible for improving and leading the Sales & Operations planning process and related initiatives as part of our Data Analytics intelligence. 

The S&OP process is critical to balance supply and demand, overall improving our utilization targets and COE effective adoption. Focus of the role will be placed in Resource Planning but will also support complementary planning activities. 

The role is a key member that works directly with management leaders within the Latin America Operations team and will represent LA in the global community.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Responsible for Leading the S&OP Process across Latin America Region working with Country Champions to ensure Resource Planning Data is accurate enough to effectively support our customers and as a tool for decision-making. 
  • Interact and Work with Sr Management in the WA and BU, being the World Area contact in the global community and participate in appropriate management-level meetings. 
  • As a reference S&OP activities (on resource planning) include but not limited to:
    • Own the entire S&OP process 
    • Analyze Demand of Projects & Services required for all countries, discipline, and BU within SYSS. 
    • Analyze and incorporate the demand coming from Pursuit with proposals & Sales Leaders and estimate the Funnel demand with standard models or customized ones. 
    • Provide Guideline to S&OP Champions at the countries to update demand based in Backlog & Funnel prior releasing the S&OP deliveries. 
    • Review finding, needs and required actions with Planning team, PM, and Countries S&OP Champions 
    • Define and Track effective S&OP KPIs: such as but not limited to: Backlog coverage, forecasting accuracy, COE/local utilization, etc. 
    • Full accountable for S&OP deliverables 
    • Lead development of improvement processes. Analyze actuals data to be used in the optimization of our forecasting model and process 
  • Provide Support to LA Ops Management as well in a variety of functions mainly related to resources planning and utilization 
    • Consolidate information for different Operations Reports for LA, KPIs Developing and Tracking 
    • Collaborate across functions to design and/or implement tools to enhance analytic capabilities, improve processes, refine reports, and automate work.

You anticipate and adjust effective contingency plans, also you use milestones to diligently track and manage the progress of the work.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Experience in industrial automation project execution, especially on leadership, supervisory and/or coordination roles (minimum 5 years) 
  • Preferred experience on similar roles or equivalent with regards to planning, data management & analytics (including experience of automation project support or data analyst, minimum 2 years). 
  • Professional background in project management and/or Engineering will be a plus 
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Business Administration, related area, degree is required. 
  • Experience Required working with Latin America Countries, able to interact with different cultures and seniority to influence and engage stakeholders to ensure the availability of information in a timely manner. 
  • Intermediate English level is required, Portuguese is desirable 
  • Strong Knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) as a must; Visual Basic and Business systems like Clarity, CRM and Oracle will be a plus. 
  • The position requires good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. In complement is also required excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills 
  • A good business understanding and the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers are essential. 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of resources and data. 
  • Needs experience working with large amounts of diverse information with ability to verify accuracy. 
  • Attention to details; proactive; organized; customer oriented.
