Senior Power BI Developer

Currently, we are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our growing data team. This role is a key part of Nortal’s continued investment in data and analytics competence, helping us deliver robust, scalable BI solutions that drive meaningful insights for our clients.

As part of our cross-functional teams, you’ll collaborate with data engineers, cloud specialists, solution architects, and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are aligned with both technical best practices and business goals. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service to create robust BI solutions.
• Apply strong data modeling concepts to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
• Solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions to data-related challenges. 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in working in an international or global environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users.
• Experience in the manufacturing domain, specifically in shop floor digitalization is a big plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate and Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate are highly desirable.
• Strong Finnish language skills with strong English skills (C1)
