Who You Are

You are a self-starter with a passion for technology and the digitization of the built environment. You are a team player and open to traveling and interacting with a wide range of people and environments. You will also learn basic model authoring and setup. You need to be organized, have people skills and have some experience with reality capture technologies. 

You will work on digitizing facilities with a primary focus on healthcare. We use the very latest reality capture technology for rapid high-definition scanning. Your responsibility will include capturing the exterior and the interior of large-scale facilities as well as support processing the information. You need to have good people skills when navigating many different environments. You will be an integral part of the Owner’s BIM (Building Information Modeling) team where we deliver the next generation digital twin.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.

· An innovative mindset with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest technology trends in BIM and digital twin solutions.

· Able to handle reality capture equipment across all areas of a facility (up to 40 pounds)

· Preferred but not required: 

o Experience with digital twin technology and lifecycle management software, such as Revit.

o Familiarity with large language models and applied use of GPT tools. Candidates to demonstrate how they’ve used AI tools to augment their workflows, reflecting our team's commitment to harnessing cutting-edge technologies for enhanced operational efficiency and innovation.

  

Responsibilities

· Use reality capture tools to capture exterior, interior and roofs of large-scale facilities such as healthcare facilities and other types of buildings

· Work collaboratively with the reality capture manager to plan, execute and report on the daily scan activities. 

· Update the daily scan areas to Autodesk.

· Test new scanning equipment, reality capture software and workflows. 

· Ensure the equipment is updated and maintained.

· Make sure to follow procedures and data standards

· Innovation: Continuously explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve reality capture practices and outcomes.

· Active Participation: Actively participate in team meetings, offering insights and solutions that drive project success and innovation.

· Industry Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring that the team remains at the forefront of the building profession.
