As an Operations Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the forefront of coordinating multiple projects within the operations landscape. This role combines strategic business acumen with data analytics proficiency, requiring a solid understanding of business and technical aspects.
Reporting directly to the COO you will play a crucial role in optimising operations and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
Operations Analytics:
- Translate business needs into actionable, systems-oriented solutions
- Guide operations teams based on analytical insights using SQL, python or any other analytical tool that might be handy
- Leverage data to create progress reports and identify potential roadblocks, escalating to management as needed
- Gather and organize feedback from the operations team for the development of new dashboards, KPIs and analyses aiming to streamline tasks and enhance performance tracking
Forecasting & Planning:
- Develop operations high-end forecasting models in coordination with the COO
- Monitor performance against targets and forecasting
Reporting:
- Analyze and evaluate operations performance, developing automated methods for information sharing across teams and geographical locations
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for the broader operations organization and management.
Requirements
- Background in a quantitative field: Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Economics
- 4+ years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data roles
- Working closely with Operations or Logistics is a strong plus
- Proficiency in SQL (window functions, joins, CTEs, subqueries)
- Proficiency building structured dashboards in Power BI, with a focus on usability and performance
- Proficiency with Python (pandas, numpy) for exploratory analysis, automation and forecasting modelling
- Strong communicator: capable of aligning with non-technical stakeholders and influencing priorities using data.
