Summary:


Anaconda is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive revenue growth within our largest portfolio of annual customers. This role focuses primarily on identifying and executing upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, maximizing the lifetime value of Anaconda's customer base. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.


What You'll Do:
  • Account Expansion Strategy: Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within a large pool of accounts
  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by expanding product adoption, adding new users, and introducing new solutions across customer organizations
  • Value Realization: Partner with the Growth Customer Success and Renewals Management Team to ensure customers fully leverage their current Anaconda investments, creating natural pathways for expansion discussions
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across multiple departments within customer organizations to uncover expansion opportunities and build executive sponsorship
  • Opportunity Mapping: Identify organizational initiatives and challenges that Anaconda solutions can address, with focus on expanding beyond initial deployment areas
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Product teams to align expansion strategies with customer needs and product roadmaps
  • Renewal Oversight: Team with Customer Success on expansion renewals within your book of business 
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of expansion opportunities within assigned accounts through proactive outreach and strategic account planning
What You Need:
  • 3-5+ years of software sales or account management experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding upsell/expansion targets
  • Experience selling technical solutions, preferably in data science, analytics, AI/ML, or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships at multiple levels
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align Anaconda's solutions with customer business objectives
  • Experience with solution selling and value-based conversations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales methodology
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

The US base salary range for this role is $64,000 - $92,000 + variable commission structure based on sales performance + equity + benefits. The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.


Within the range, individual compensation is determined by various factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide more specific details on the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
