Job Description:

We’re seeking a technically minded innovator to join our AI-led SEO team. In this position, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing intelligent automation systems and large-scale content solutions that combine creative thinking with data-driven precision.

Your goal will be to enhance the scalability, speed, and intelligence of our SEO efforts by applying machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and smart automation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop automated workflows to streamline SEO processes such as keyword clustering, internal linking, metadata optimisation, and technical audits, using tools like n8n, Zapier, or bespoke Python/TypeScript scripts.
• Build and deploy AI-driven tools for generating content briefs, forecasting traffic, and creating optimisation strategies using LLMs and vector databases.
• Design and execute experiments aimed at influencing AI-driven search experiences (e.g. Google’s SGE, ChatGPT, Gemini) through structured data, schema, and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) techniques.
• Deploy and manage AI agents (such as LangChain, crewAI, AutoGPT) to execute complex, multi-step SEO operations
• Collaborate with SEO strategists, content teams, and developers to integrate AI solutions into production environments.
• Create internal tools and micro-apps that assist with content evaluation, topic gap analysis, and LLM interpretability.
• Document your work and share findings with the wider team to promote a culture of technical curiosity, operational efficiency, and continuous learning. 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in a technical role related to automation, data engineering, applied AI, or technical SEO.
• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience using frameworks such as FastAPI, LangChain, or Playwright.
• Demonstrated ability to build automation systems using n8n, Temporal.io, or similar orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, vector search, embeddings, and AI agents.
• Familiarity with core SEO principles and awareness of how AI is changing the traditional search landscape.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with semantic SEO, AI-driven content scoring, or AEO.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel) and containerisation tools such as Docker.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and integrating tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Gemini into workflows.
• Prior work on marketing automation, content performance modelling, or editorial tech solutions.
