Job Description

The Data Analytics Senior Consultant II is responsible for leveraging data and analytics to answer complex questions and influence business strategy through communication of findings to senior management. The position is also responsible for developing standards of practice around data retrieval, data manipulation, data reporting and data analytics as well as coaching and developing less experienced analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile, clean, organize, and analyze complex datasets to uncover insights and understand business performance.

  • Provide technical expertise in data analytics and visualization.

  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Coach and mentor junior analysts, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.

  • Establish, document, and communicate standards for data retrieval, manipulation, quality, reporting, and analytics.

  • Influence business strategy through data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and tools that present data in a clear, decision-ready format tailored to the audience.

  • Monitor and evaluate business initiatives against key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate findings to leadership.

  • Present project updates and analytical findings to teams and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform both basic and advanced data analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making through data.

Required Skills:

  • Structured Query Language (SQL) , Data Visualization (Power BI and/or Tableau), Communication, Advanced Analytics, Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).

  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or equivalent.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $70,500.00 - 124,125.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
