Job Description:
We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our team for 4-6 months to support key strategic initiatives in pricing, leasing operations, and property tax optimization. This role will work cross-functionally across Finance, IT, and the product teams to develop insights and tools that inform strategy, drive efficiency and simplification, and enhance our operations.
You will:
Property Tax Analytics
- Evaluate existing property tax process and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies
- Work cross-functionally to drive implementation of critical enhancements
- Analyze historic information to identify trending and inform future forecasting
Leasing Process Enhancement
- Map existing residual value process and understand data flows
- Develop and implement approach to leveraging data analytics to improve the precision of residual value assessments
Pricing
- Leverage existing data to develop real-time dashboards for pricing across multiple product streams
- Work with functional leaders to enhance pricing modeling
Your background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Real Estate, Business, Statistics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a data analytics roles focused in finance
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, or R).
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
