Job Description:

We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our team for 4-6 months to support key strategic initiatives in pricing, leasing operations, and property tax optimization. This role will work cross-functionally across Finance, IT, and the product teams to develop insights and tools that inform strategy, drive efficiency and simplification, and enhance our operations.

You will:

Property Tax Analytics

• Evaluate existing property tax process and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies
• Work cross-functionally to drive implementation of critical enhancements
• Analyze historic information to identify trending and inform future forecasting

Leasing Process Enhancement

• Map existing residual value process and understand data flows
• Develop and implement approach to leveraging data analytics to improve the precision of residual value assessments

Pricing

• Leverage existing data to develop real-time dashboards for pricing across multiple product streams
• Work with functional leaders to enhance pricing modeling

Your background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Real Estate, Business, Statistics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a data analytics roles focused in finance              
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, or R).
• Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
