Business Intelligence is a global function within DTO (Data Technology and Operations) department in Schibsted Marketing Services. The team consists of 5 dedicated BI specialists located in Stockholm. The overall mission of BI team is to empower Schibsted Marketing Services with the right information at the right time facilitating data-driven decisions.
Are you the new Head of Business Intelligence in Schibsted Marketing Services?
The Business Intelligence team is responsible for core management analysis and reporting in Schibsted Marketing Services. In addition to providing stable data sources for stakeholders, the BI team provides actionable insight for fact-based management decisions.
As Head of BI you will be hands on in our tech stack, a coaching leader for the team that contributes to the value increase of the existing data warehouse solution and are expected to drive the architectural vision. You are familiar with cloud architecture, preferably AWS, and a champion when it comes to data modelling, databases, the ETL-process and the area of sharing data with others. You are business interested and acknowledge and act on the potential structured data can have.
The position reports to Nicoline Vilpponen, Director of Ad Platform
Important Note:
You must have an existing work permit for this role.
Tasks:
- Leadership responsibility of the team
- Ensure that the team has the right expertise at all times
- Contribute to projects and strategy processes in Schibsted Marketing Services
- Hands on responsibility for technical operation, management and further development of the data warehouse, data flow and report.
- Further develop super users and the organization's competence within our data and reports
- Perform customer, market and competition analysis that includes historical data and prediction of expected behavior
- Analyze data and compile reports and dashboard for both sales department and management
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT
- Operational management experience in business intelligence
- Project management experience
- Experience with databases and data modeling, preferably within the data warehouses world
- Programming experience (eg Python, Scala, R, Matlab etc.)
- Experience with presentation of data in programs such as Tableau or QlikView.
- Experience with cloud architecture - preferably AWS (servers, databases, etc..)
