What is the opportunity?

As a Group Annuity, Client Operations Analyst, you will provide support to RBC Insurance’s Group Annuity Line of Business. You will be part of a very inclusive team that works cohesively together, which is integral to the success of this exciting growing line of business that continues to evolve and is committed to providing the best-in-class client experience.

What will you do?

• Work within a dynamic environment where you contribute to continuous process improvement and work with autonomy

• Create processes and draft procedure documentation for annuity administration support

• Develop and maintain and internal relationships across various departments to enhance knowledge of business

• Input and analyze group annuity data and provide actionable recommendations  to ensure and improve ongoing data quality

• Resolve internal and external queries in a professional manner within established service standards

• Prepare various reports using membership data and payments to support statement generation and client request

• Ad-hoc requests as required

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics

• Excellent working knowledge using VBA, Python and R programming

• Experience with End User Reporting Tools (ex. Power BI)

• Other programming skills considered an asset ie. SQL

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Analytical thinking

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge in building, documenting and assessing processes

• Actuarial or pension knowledge/experience

• Knowledge of factors affecting annuity/reinsurance
