We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AI Program Manager to lead and oversee strategic AI-driven initiatives that drive our organization's innovation, growth, and success. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of delivering complex artificial intelligence and machine learning projects from conception to deployment, leveraging AI technologies to solve critical business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Strategic AI Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive AI program strategies aligned with organizational goals, identifying key opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning for competitive advantage.
- AI Program Management: Oversee the entire AI/ML program lifecycle, from initial research and prototyping to model development, deployment, and monitoring, including planning, budgeting for AI infrastructure, and resource allocation for technical teams.
- AI Team Leadership: Build, motivate, and lead high-performing AI/ML engineering and data science teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture focused on cutting-edge AI solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, and partners, translating complex AI concepts and project progress into clear, actionable insights.
- AI Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks specific to AI initiatives, such as data bias, model drift, ethical considerations, and data privacy to ensure project success.
- Financial Oversight: Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability for AI development, infrastructure, and data acquisition.
- AI Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI models and programs (e.g., accuracy, latency, business impact) and track performance to measure success and ROI.
- Continuous AI Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including MLOps practices, model retraining strategies, and adoption of new AI technologies to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline).
- 10+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex AI/ML products, initiatives, or technology projects.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, methodologies (e.g., supervised, unsupervised learning, deep learning), and the end-to-end AI/ML development lifecycle.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire technical AI/ML teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, capable of articulating technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), specifically applied to AI/ML development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in navigating ambiguous and evolving AI landscapes.
- Experience with financial management and budgeting for technology or AI-specific projects.
Customer Communication
- Effectively listen to customer needs, concerns, and feedback. Understand and respond to customer emotions and perspectives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Build strong relationships with customers based on trust and reliability.
- Identify and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently. Keep the customer informed about project progress and potential issues.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination
- Work collaboratively with teams from different functions (e.g., development, design, marketing).
- Identify and manage dependencies between teams and resolve conflicts and disagreements
- Align teams towards common goals and objectives through regular communication
- Ensure shared understanding of project requirements and goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality/gaming industry.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience with international projects and cross-cultural teams.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 46,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 161,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
