Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) seeks a skilled Systems Integrator to support the Business Resource Integration Dashboard for Government Efficiency (BRIDGE) initiative. This role is critical in breaking down data silos, automating legacy processes, and integrating disparate systems across the Management Directorate’s functional areas—including asset management, budget/finance, human capital, IT, procurement, and security. The ideal candidate will leverage emerging technologies to enhance data-driven decision-making while ensuring compliance with federal standards. 

 **Key Responsibilities** 
1. **Systems Integration & Data Consolidation** 
   - Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions to connect disparate data sources (e.g., financial, HR, procurement) into a unified platform. 
   - Implement automation to replace manual processes, improving efficiency and reducing risk. 
   - Ensure seamless interoperability between legacy systems and modern AI-driven analytics tools. 

2. **Compliance & Governance** 
   - Align integrations with **NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, CFO Act, GAAP, and NARA requirements**. 
   - Conduct system audits, control assessments, and documentation to meet federal regulations. 

3. **Functional Area Support** 
   - **Asset Management & Logistics:** Optimize asset tracking, space utilization, and records management. 
   - **Budget & Finance:** Validate financial systems, audit trails, and A-123 compliance. 
   - **Human Capital:** Audit HR/payroll systems and ensure policy compliance. 
   - **IT & Cybersecurity:** Assess cloud infrastructure, network configurations, and cyber risk posture. 
   - **Procurement:** Streamline contract lifecycle management and audit readiness. 

4. **Collaboration & Innovation** 
   - Work with cross-functional teams to identify integration opportunities and deliver scalable solutions. 
   - Advise on emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning) to enhance the BRIDGE platform. 

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field**. 
- Experience:
  - 3+ years in **systems integration, data architecture, or enterprise IT solutions**. 
  - Hands-on experience with **ETL tools, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and SQL**. 
  - Familiarity with **federal compliance standards** (e.g., FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP). 
- Skills: 
  - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  - Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools. 
  - Excellent communication for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
