Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at RAC you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the organisation's data platform as well as enabling the efficient, reliable and secure consumption of data for purposes of Business Analytics. This role will see you use the latest features in the Azure Enterprise Data Platform Solution using Synapse and Fabric.

What will you be doing?

• Develop, construct, test and maintain reliable and secure data solutions
• Ensure data solutions support the BI and Analytics requirements of the organisation
• Develop ingestion approaches for new data sources
• Develop reliable and scalable processes for data modelling and mining
• Improve code quality with well-designed and maintained CI/CD processes
• Help coach and mentor other team members

What are we looking for in you?

• Demonstrated experience in building data pipelines and data modelling
• Experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing using Synapse / Fabric
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated experience using data to create efficiencies, discover and share insight, as well as develop and improve products
• Azure Data Engineering experience
