Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Report Builder, and DAX. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data modeling, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into visually compelling and data-driven reports and dashboards.



Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
• Write efficient DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
• Develop paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
• Create and optimize data models, relationships, and hierarchies within Power BI.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and user-level access controls on Power BI datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability of BI solutions.
• Maintain documentation related to data models, DAX measures, and report logic.
• Support deployment, publishing, and Power BI service administration tasks.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of reports and datasets.



Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder and paginated reports.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schema, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of Power Query (M language) for data transformation.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service, including workspace management, gateways, and scheduling.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into effective visualizations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
