You will:Â
Participate in data management for the benefit of market risk business processesÂ
Ensure consistent, transparent and easy-to-maintain data consumption across market risk processes and downstreamÂ
Participate in various data-related strategic programs targeting BCBS 239 implementation across the Firm (e.g. Risk Reporting, Data Lineage, elimination of manual processes, etc.)Â
Execute recurring data quality controls and help market risk managers dig deeper in control resultsÂ
Raise, investigate and help stakeholders resolve identified data quality issuesÂ
You ideally have:Â
University or College degree in any data related field, statistics or business managementÂ
Basic understanding of financial markets, risk management concepts and models and financial productsÂ
Strong data manipulation, automation and vizualization skills:Â
SQL (e.g. case-when statements, subqueries, joins, etc.)Â
Excel (e.g. VBA, vlookup, index-match, Pivot tables, etc.)Â
PowerBI dashboardingÂ
Ability to work independently, proactively and taking ownershipÂ
Strong strategic and critical thinkingÂ
Strong risk and control mindsetÂ
Curiosity to understand and motivation to improve data processesÂ
Attention to detail and prioritization skills will be key in balancing daily deadlines with timely implementation of strategic projectsÂ
Proficient in written and verbal communication (in English)Â
You might also have:Â
Good understanding of Agile PrinciplesÂ
Experience in UAT and in product development supportÂ
Team Profile: The Market Risk Data Management team is part of the Market Risk Department (a risk stripe within the Risk Management division), leading the effort in setting up and maintaining curated data marts for market risk business processes and controls. The team is to ensure consistent, transparent and easy-to-maintain data consumption across market risk processes and downstream.Â
