Requirements
BI Analyst: This is where you come in.
We are seeking a BI Analyst to transform data into actionable insights and drive informed business decisions. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining PowerBI reports and semantic models, while also supporting SSRS and ETL processes to ensure a robust and scalable analytics infrastructure.
You’ll help improve data quality, support ongoing data migration efforts, and bring technical expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL pipelines to strengthen our reporting foundation.
This is a highly collaborative role — you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs, provide PowerBI training to citizen developers, and promote data-driven thinking across the organization. - Data Visualization – You will create visually appealing PowerBI reports, dashboards, and applications to make complex data insights easy to understand.
- PowerBI Environment Maintenance, Governance, and Auditing – You will develop visually compelling PowerBI reports, dashboards, and applications to effectively communicate complex data insights. Additionally, you will establish governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security within the BI platform.
- Data Modeling and Transformation – You will make a significant impact by designing and implementing data models that support PowerBI and SSRS reporting needs, ensuring efficient data retrieval and analysis. You’ll also support and maintain ETL processes that ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across our reporting infrastructure.
- PowerBI Training and Adoption Advocate – You will engage with all levels and functions across the organization. You will conduct training sessions and workshops for internal stakeholders and citizen developers, focusing on PowerBI usage, best practices, and advanced features.
- Collaboration with Internal Customers – You will stay close to the action by working closely with internal customers to gather reporting requirements, understand business needs, and prioritize development efforts.
Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?
You should have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Computer Science
- 1+ years in a BI Developer or related role. This experience should include working with BI tools, data analysis, SSRS reporting and report/dashboard creation.
- Strong skills in Power BI Development, SSRS, DAX, T-SQL and familiarity with ETL pipelines or tools

Benefits
Compensation: $80,000 to $105,000 Annually
MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions presently provides employee coverage for:

Where you will work
Our Seattle HQ office (17930 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188) has easy access to the SeaTac International Airport, ample secured parking, and newly renovated office facilities - not to mention great views! Neighborhood amenities include an onsite deli, restaurants, and convenient freeway/airport access. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in the office two days a week and allowing you to work from home for the remaining three days.
