Operations & BI Analyst

Job size: This position has direct impact on the entire KFC Western Europe Business Unit Corporate, Franchisee & Restaurant System and indirect impact, through know how sharing, to the Pan-Europe and global teams. Job functions:
Customer & Operations Insights (50%)
- Analyze core operations and commercial data (e.g., OSAT, sales, transactions, compliance, training, margin drivers) to generate actionable insights.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Partner with Finance and Marketing to align operational KPIs with commercial targets and customer value drivers.
- Lead post-implementation reviews of commercial and operational initiatives.
- Ad-hoc customer analysis – understanding what our customers are telling us through surveys, social media and reviews to articulate satisfiers, dissatisfiers and areas of risk through the end-to-end customer & Restaurant Member journeys
- Lead unbiased approach to field/operations/technology launch reviews/diagnostics
Data Strategy & Visualization (30%)
- Generate regular reports, with a view to streamlining reporting by creating automated dashboards.
- Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly performance review; preparation and presentation of regular business update. meetings. Diagnose performance concerns and provide insight-led recommendations.
- Build and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, DOMO) to track performance and commercial KPIs.
- Translate complex data into compelling narratives and visualizations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Technology and Data teams to enhance data infrastructure and accessibility.
- Work with Operations to define field data and reporting needs to support Operations Performance
Strategic Projects & Field Enablement (10%)
- Support strategic initiatives such as initiative launches, format innovation, and digital transformation.
- Develop playbooks and toolkits to scale data best practices across markets.
- Enable field teams with insights and tools to drive performance and customer experience.
Communication & Influence (10%)
- Support strategic initiatives such as new market entries, format innovation, and digital transformation.

Knowledge and skills required:
- Degree in Analytics, Commercial Finance, Business, or related field
- 3–5 years in a commercial, operations, or business intelligence role
- Quick learner with strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L levers
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, DOMO), SQL, and Excel
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate across teams
- Proven ability to synthesize data into strategic insights
- Experience in creating visualizations and presentations that can bring the data story to life
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in QSR, retail, or FMCG preferred
- Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus
