What you’ll do
We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Data Scientist who is not only technically exceptional but also thrives in leading cross-functional teams. In this pivotal role, you’ll help scale Guild Insurance’s AI capabilities across the enterprise by designing and deploying end-to-end machine learning solutions that deliver real business impact. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to uncover opportunities, translate complex data into actionable insights, and champion ethical, scalable AI practices—while mentoring peers and fostering a data-driven, innovative culture.
Key Responsibilities of the role…
- Lead AI/ML Solution Delivery: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning solutions, ensuring they are scalable, explainable, and aligned with industry regulations and ethical standards
- Drive Technical Excellence: Champion best practices in ML Ops, model governance, and responsible AI while evolving data science workflows, tools, and frameworks to support enterprise-wide AI adoption
- Foster a Collaborative Culture: Mentor and support the growth of others in team, promote knowledge sharing, and advocate for inclusive, ethical AI practices across teams
- Deliver Business Impact: Partner with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, influence strategic direction, and translate complex data science concepts into actionable business insights
Knowledge, experience, and skills we are looking for…
- Extensive Data Science Background: 8–10 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong track record in delivering BI and AI solutions across complex business environments
- Advanced Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python (including libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, TensorFlow), R, and SQL, with solid knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and NLP
- Cloud & ML Platform Experience: Proven experience working with Azure cloud services, ML lifecycle tools (e.g., MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker), and modern platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
- LLM & AI Tooling: Practical experience with large language models and AI tools such as OpenAI, Claude, and Manus, as well as Azure AI Solutions and Foundry
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Demonstrated ability to lead full-cycle data science projects—from problem definition and data wrangling to model development, evaluation, and deployment—within Agile, cross-functional teams
- Business-Focused Mindset: Strong capability to translate business problems into analytical models and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
