Data Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our UniQue team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Design and maintain ETL processes in Azure using Python.
• Gather and analyze business requirements.
• Perform data modelling activities.
• Develop and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).
• Design and develop reporting applications.
• Provide advice on physical database design.
• Design data quality and health monitoring processes.
• Create and execute test programs.
• Draft technical documentation.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of systems.
• Participate in meetings with other project teams.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor Degree with minimum 13 years of general IT experience (or Master Degree with minimum 9 years of experience).
• At least 3 years of specific expertise in Azure (Synapse, Fabric).
• Minimum of 3 years of specific expertise in Python.
• At least 3 years of specific expertise in data warehouses/business intelligence/data analysis.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Good knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture.
• Good knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse.
• Knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ETL tools.
• Understanding of security and data protection principles and tools.
• Certifications in databases, data warehousing, business intelligence, or data science will be considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required (B2 level).
