Data Management Specialist I

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

JOB SUMMARY -- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Under general supervision, a DM Specialist I performs work on one or more specialty areas of data management or engineering data.

Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:

• Researches and compile technical data for use in critical documentation
• Organizes material and completes assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, consciseness, style, and terminology.
• Perform other job-related duties, as required.

REQUIREMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE

An associate's degree in business administration, a related field, or formal training and one year of related work experience are required for this position.

In addition, a DM Specialist I must possess the following qualifications:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer operations, word processing, and integrated software applications, including EDMSs
• Planning/organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines.

• Must possess the ability and skill to write, edit, and prepare clear, concise, and acceptable scientific and technical documentation for publication and/or production.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with technical professionals.
• Must be able to type, use a PC, and be familiar with full-featured word processing applications and desktop publishing tools.
• Must be able to work independently as well as contribute as part of a work group.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is primarily sedentary, performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required.

Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
