Responsibilities

•    Understands all aspects of Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Reporting, Power BI Dashboard

•    Understands all aspects of Data Governance including but not limited to Issue Management, Critical Data Elements, Data Classification, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata, Data Retention, Data Privacy, and Data Protection
•    Manage and monitor compliance to data governance policy and playbook.  
•    Conduct root-cause analysis for data defects, and support and promote its resolution.
•    Create, support, or enhancement efforts of metadata repositories, data dictionaries, data lineage, Business Process Maps, training materials, change management documentation and related data governance procedures.
•    Manage the execution of data stewardship initiatives providing direction for Data Governance and Value Generating activities. Managing includes project planning, prioritizing requirements, and activities, seeking diverse points of view for optimal solutions, understanding, resolving, or escalating issues and concerns and influencing team members to deliver on time and within budget.
•    Understand the business and business processes to provide insights into critical data elements, their governance, management, and consistent usage, to maximize the trustworthiness in the data in for reporting, analytics, controls, risk management, etc.
•    Working knowledge of structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, data management, SQL, Agile methodology and data governance tools.
•    Assist in all interactions with audit, regulatory bodies, and governance working groups including deliverables management, audit fieldwork, business monitoring and meetings.


Qualifications
•    Minimum 7 years in Data/Data Governance/Data Quality field
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
•    Advanced knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, data governance, data quality, data prep, and/or data architecture focus.
•    Preferred experience in Collibra Data Intelligence Platform and Data Quality Tool or similar Data Governance tool.
•    Advanced knowledge of master data management, database and custom data warehouse design, testing, development, and architecture experience.
•    Advanced knowledge of Project Management and business process designs.
•    Advanced knowledge of cloud environments.
•    Advanced SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
•    Advanced skills in analytics, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization.
•    Advanced ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.
•    Advanced ability to create process flows and diagrams.
•    Strong formal business writing skills.
•    Ability to promote data literacy across the organization through training and workshops, ensuring employees understand data governance and their roles in maintaining data quality.
•    Ability to self-direct and manage competing priorities on concurrent large, complex projects, initiatives and deliverables.
•    Ability to perform and lead in a fast-paced, transformative environment.
•    Strong technical proficiency in the use of MS Office products for reporting, analytics, and presentations.
