Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, reusable data marts, curated datasets, and feature stores within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to support reporting, BI, and AI/ML use cases
  • Refine and develop dashboards and reports in collaboration with other developers and business users, ensuring usability, performance, and data accuracy
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to enable data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements and user stories
  • Deliver clean, scalable, well-documented data models that support self-service analytics and reporting
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering and analytics practices
  • Support data quality and governance through validation checks, documentation, and collaboration with data governance teams
  • Maintain clear documentation of data models, transformations, and workflows to support transparency and scalability

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, data science, data product management, or related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and building analytics workflows
  • Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt or Coalesce, and orchestration tools like Airflow
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or similar tools for dashboard development and data visualization
  • Experience developing and deploying interactive data applications using tools such as Streamlit, Shiny, or Posit Connect is a plus
  • Familiarity with dimensional modeling (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema); knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 is a plus
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset, with a passion for building high-quality data solutions
