Senior Configuration and Data Analyst

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Configuration and Data Analyst supports the Dedalus Product Management & Engineering departments by supporting new system rollouts, managing configuration data and ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems to support operational efficiency and decision-making. Ā They also implement control processes to support change management and compliance. In addition, by leveraging analytical tools and best practices, the analyst tracks data quality and resolves any issues and provides data-driven insights that align with business objectives and operational standards, and you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Assist Product Management and Engineering teams in the deployment of new systems, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate configuration setup

  • Maintain and oversee configuration data across systems, ensuring it is accurate, consistent, and up to date.

  • Implement processes to uphold the integrity and consistency of configuration data, which is critical for operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

  • Develop and apply control mechanisms to support structured change management and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Anticipate and monitor data quality using analytical tools, identify discrepancies or issues, and take corrective actions to resolve them.

  • Use data analysis tools and industry best practices to extract insights and improve data handling processes.

  • Deliver actionable insights that align with business goals and support strategic and operational decisions.

  • Ensure that configuration and data management practices meet regulatory and organisational compliance standards and suggests revisions when necessary to ensure the configuration and data strategy and implementation meets changing market demands and business priorities.

Essential Requirements

  • 9 or more years of experience in configuration management, data analysis, or a similar role within the tech or software development industry.

  • Proven experience in data quality management, data governance, and change control processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to assess multiple alternatives, risks, and benefits for potential solutions.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL and/or Power BI.

  • Knowledge of configuration item lifecycle management.

  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours due to global collaboration needs.

  • Willingness to travel.

Desirable Requirements

  • Certifications in ITIL, Configuration Management, Data Analytics, or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., M.Tech, MBA in IT/Operations) are a plus but not mandatory.
