Data Operations Executive

About the role:

FT Live is the global conferences and events division of the Financial Times, one of the world’s most respected and influential news organizations. With a portfolio spanning global banking, finance and investment, luxury, energy, and more, we deliver premium conferences, summits, briefings, roundtables, dinners, and awards. Every event is produced and managed by our expert in-house team and is designed to inform, inspire, and foster connection among top-tier professionals and decision-makers worldwide.

The Data Operations Executive will join our fast-paced global event marketing team in Manila. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of world-class events by driving data quality and customer service excellence. This role has a 90/10 split between data research and customer service, requiring strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality support.

Responsibilities:

Data Research & Management

• Build and maintain accurate contact databases, focusing on senior-level professionals across diverse industries.
• Conduct targeted research to generate high-quality data lists for event invitations.
• Update and validate contact and company information with precision.
• Coordinate with third-party data suppliers to support campaign data requirements.
• Track and report daily progress, including sourcing metrics and project achievements.
• Collaborate with the global marketing team to ensure alignment on data goals and event requirements.

Customer Service

• Promptly and professionally respond to customer service inquiries via email or other platforms.
• Provide support to event registrants and delegates, ensuring a smooth pre-event experience.
• Escalate complex issues to the relevant team while maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• Proven experience in administrative support roles.
• Ability to create and manage databases, perform data audits, and generate reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional tone.
• Demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in a B2B media or publishing environment.
• A flexible, adaptive, and collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Strong understanding of FT Live’s events and its high-profile target audiences.
• Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
