In this role, youâll analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems. Youâll resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes. Youâll load and configure cloud servers and vendors such as Cisco or Juniper, or white box routers and switches, and support the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services. Youâll act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.
On our team, youâll be involved in the full lifecycle of software projects, our technical capabilities, and product design. Working on an agile team of experts, youâll perform reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of various software problems. Youâll inform operational parameters for complex systems, as well as leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work. You Have:
3+ years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field
Experience with networking equipment, including Cisco or Juniper
Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker
Experience with Linux or OpenStack
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date
Nice If You Have:Â
Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploit development
Experience with Python
Experience with Assembly
Knowledge of telecommunications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
